Leonard Lionnet, PhD, Principal and Owner

Dr. Leonard Lionnet has close to 25 years of experience in the clinical and pharmaceutical theaters developing a multitude of deliverable across a wide range of therapeutic areas.

 Prior to freelance, Dr Lionnet held key senior management positions at multiple successful agencies where he divided his time between client management, supervising others and developing content. Throughout, he was the client-facing scientific lead on many high-profile accounts, responsible for the generation and dissemination of scientific content for numerous brands, including those in early clinical development, high-profile launch brands, and marketed drugs.

 Dr Lionnet directly supports all Lev Communications clients himself, providing all of the necessary writing, strategy, and content development. We also has the capacity for and is experienced operating as a "virtual agency" when situations demand it, such as larger scopes of work, challenging timelines, or the need to collaborate with visual artists.

 Prior to his work in medical communications, Dr Lionnet was an experienced clinician. He completed post-doc clinical training as a psychotherapist at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis in New York City. Dr Lionnet was also a Staff Psychotherapist and Researcher in the Department of Psychiatry at Cabrini Medical Center (inpatient and outpatient) and Staff Psychotherapist and Intake Coordinator at Washington Square Institute, both in New York City.
